Legends of the Outdoors – Taro Tamai Snowboarding | Cebu Pacific Airlines | Smile Magazine Cover

Photographed the cover for Smile, the in-flight magazine of Cebu Pacific Airlines from a snowboarding trip to Niseko in Hokkaido, Japan with Taro Tamai – the creator and owner of Gentemstick Snow Surf. We shot the cover as an action sequence, capturing Taro’s descent down the beautiful backcountry of Niseko. We hiked in with snowshoes to climb the mountain in this photo to get the shot – no chair lifts, and it was my first time on skis in something like 17 years. Next time need to stay longer and learn how to snowboard! 🙂
