Schools of Fish in Raja Ampat: Wide Angle Gallery

On many of our dives in Raja Ampat, we found shimmering walls of schooling fish - far too many to take in with a normal lens. Trying to do justice to the experience of swimming around the world's best aquarium, I used a 16-35mm lens with my Canon 5D Mark IV in a Liquid Eye water housing.

It was the only way to take in the amazing scenes we found on the reefs around Raja Ampat. This collection includes some of my favorite photos of schooling fish, parrotfish, as well as unusual varieties like Napoleon wrasse.

Check out the gallery below to see the photo highlights, or see the all the photo galleries from our Raja Ampat liveaboard dive trip - from scuba diving, to aerial photos, to freediving, to the incredible wildlife and local people living in this amazing place. You can also see galleries from other Seven Seas liveaboard dive trips - my absolute favorite way to explore the awesome natural beauty and unique cultures of Indonesia.
