Novice monks on their way to class at the Klu-kkhyil Gompa in Likir village while cottonwood trees fill the air with delicately floating white tufts; Ladakh, India. The Klu-kkhyil is the first in Ladakh known to have been built by Tibetan monks and was founded in the 11th century.
