South China Sea  (74 Photos)

A part of the Pacific Ocean, the South China Sea stretches from Singapore to the Strait of Taiwan and 3,500,000 square kilometers making it one of the world’s largest bodies of water after the five Oceans. My own experience in the South China Sea has been a short dip in the Eastern edge of it while paddling the Bacuit archipelago in Palawan with Kris and Kristen. In fact, we almost got blown out into the middle of the South China Sea in our little sea kayaks, when a squall blew up out of nowhere and we were exposed on the Western edge of the Bacuit archipelago with no beaches near us for shelter and jagged karst limestone cliffs blocking our escape. This gallery covers our brief run in the South China Sea.
