Monkey (33 Photos) |

Monkeys are relatively common around South and Southeast Asia, so I’ve come across quite a few during my travels. They usually make great photo subjects because they’re always doing something that makes them seem somehow ‘human’. Probably the most memorable monkey I’ve met was from El Nido in the Philippines and is named ‘Moy’. This particular monkey liked to swim underwater with his eyes open and blowing bubbles, and one day I was able to spend an afternoon shooting underwater photos of the ‘swimming monkey’. Other funny monkeys have been spotted at the Swayambhunath Temple (Monkey temple) in Kathmandu, Shimla in Himachal Pradesh, India, and the Uluwatu Temple in Bali, Indonesia. No doubt there will be more monkeys added to this gallery in the coming months. | ||
