Dolphins are probably one of the best-loved species of marine mammal, are found worldwide in the shallower water of coastal seas and continental shelves. Preferring a diet of fish and squid, dolphins range in size from 1.2 m (4 feet) and 40 kg (90 pounds) (Maui’s Dolphin) and are as large as 9.5 m (30 feet) and 10 tons (the Killer Whale). This photo gallery contains dolphin photos shot mostly in the Bohol Sea near Panglao Island on a dolphin watching trip to Pamilacan. Most of the photos are of spinner dolphins. For some reason, I notice a lot of people misspell the name as ‘dolpin’, tsk, tsk.
