Blue Water and Tropical Island Beach - Endangered Shore Birds in

Rare migratory birds such as the brown footed booby often stop to take a rest on the white sand of Bird Island, and many also mate and nest here annually as well. In this picture I used a circluar polarizer to remove the reflection from the shallow blue water that surrounds the island and bring out as much of the color contrast as possible. Tubbataha UNESCO World Heritage coral reef; Palawan liveaboard scuba dive trip in the Sulu Sea, Western Philippines.
