An Indian boatman rows his skiff across the Yamuna River with the Taj Mahal in the background. Visiting India's most famous destination, the Taj Mahal in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The Taj was comissioned by Shah Jahan as a mausoleum for his third wife who died in 1631. Begun in 1632 and completed in 1653, the Taj Mahal is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and considered one of the eight wonders of the world.
